Cookie Policy

This page lists every cookie and similar technology used by Sexties, under Article 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002 and the ePrivacy Directive. All our cookies are first-party: they are set by us, and none contains what you watch. We use no third-party tracking or advertising cookies, and no analytics service from another company.

1.What a cookie is

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website stores in your browser and reads back later. Similar technologies, such as the local storage of the browser, work in the same way and are treated here in the same way.

2.Strictly necessary cookies

These make the Service work as you asked. No consent is required for them, but you can block them in your browser, in which case parts of the Service will not work.

age_ok: remembers that you passed the entry screen. 30 days.
locale: the language you chose. 90 days.
country: the country you picked. 1 year.
section: the catalogue you are browsing. Encrypted. 30 days.
Session cookies, with a name that contains session_token, session_data or dont_remember: keep you signed in, only if you sign in. Up to 30 days.
vid, when it holds your choice to turn the profile off: remembers that choice so that no profile is kept. 1 year.

If security checks are triggered, Cloudflare, our network provider, may set a short-lived cookie of its own, such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance, to tell people from bots. It is used for that alone.

3.Cookies that rely on your consent

vid: a signed, random identifier for your recommendation profile and usage events. It is set the first time something appears on your screen after the entry screen. 60 days. See the Privacy Policy.
visit: when you last visited, to show what is new since then. 90 days.

The entry screen tells you about these before you continue. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the buttons at the end of the Privacy Policy, which take effect at once in that browser and, if you are signed in, on your account.

4.Storage in your browser

The site uses the local storage of your browser for small conveniences: the theme, player settings, where you stopped in a video and which ones you finished, your recent searches, how often certain banners have appeared and what you closed. These stay on your device and we do not use them to identify you. Anyone using the same browser could see them, so use a private window on a shared device, or clear them in your browser.

5.Advertising

Banners are shown in an isolated frame, a sandbox that cannot run scripts and cannot read our cookies. A banner may load its image from the advertiser or its provider, which then sees your connection as with any image on the internet. If you click it you go to that advertiser, whose own policy then applies.

6.How to control cookies

You can see and delete cookies in the settings of your browser, and block them for all sites or for this one. Help pages:

If you delete age_ok we will ask again at the entry screen. If you delete vid, your browser will no longer be linked to your profile, which expires on its own: to erase it at once use the button on the Privacy Policy before deleting.

7.Changes

We update this list when the cookies change. The date at the top shows the last revision. Questions: privacy@sexties.com.
